Q-REstrain for Lyme & Coinfections
Q-REstrain (SOT) Therapy for Lyme Disease
Q-REstrain — also known as Supportive Oligonucleotide Therapy, or SOT — is a personalized, RNA-based therapy developed by RGCC International. Rather than broadly treating symptoms, it’s designed using your own gene expression profile to target specific pathogens at the genetic level.
Q-REstrain is most effective against Borrelia, the bacteria responsible for Lyme disease. Because Borrelia suppresses the immune system, it often allows viral coinfections — including Epstein-Barr virus, herpes, and hepatitis — to take hold and contribute to ongoing symptoms. By targeting Borrelia directly, Q-REstrain supports the body’s ability to also address these secondary infections.
Before Q-REstrain therapy can be considered, a confirmed Lyme diagnosis is required. At Newport Integrative, we use the TickBorne Complete panel — combining PCR and antibody testing — to identify Lyme and coinfections with the sensitivity standard testing often lacks, in both early- and late-stage cases. Molecular Insight
Antibiotics can't reach dormant, biofilm-protected Borrelia. SOT silences the pathogen's RNA directly — targeting the genes that conventional treatment misses.
MECHANISM OF ACTION
How advancements in DNA technology disarm Borrelia, cancer and coinfections.
Target Identification
5'-AUGCCGUAAU-3'
Relevant DNA sequences are identified from your blood sample.
Oligonucleotide Design
3'-UACGGCAUUA-5'
Custom oligomers are designed in the RGCC lab for targeted delivery.
Selective Binding
mRNA → Degradation
Oligonucleotides are delivered and bind to mRNA, triggering cellular degradation.
Gene Silencing
OspC ↓ VlsE ↓ BmpA ↓
Virulence factors are silenced, disabling the pathogen's ability to survive.
